Will This Be The Upgraded Versions?

That is the version with the improvements (Skirmishers,etc) that Tiller posted "unofficially" after Talonsoft abandoned the series. In otherwords,upgraded to Chickamauga standards.
I hope so,since apparently the Tiller upgrades do not work with Vista.

I think it is a safe assumption that all of the Tiller 32 bit upgrades will be included (at a bare minimum). I hadn't heard that the upgrades wouldn't work with Vista, but if they do cause problems with the new O/S this could be the reason behind David Heath's rather pessimistic assessment of the problems with doing the kinds of upgrading that people were hoping for... now I'm just hoping for a clean package of the originals with the 32 bit upgrade.

As for Vista... well, I'm definitely keeping my current PC running Windows XP for the foreseeable future as my game machine. I'm ready to build a new, high powered multi-media machine and that will probably be running Vista eventually.

A thread here on the BG games and VIsta is where someone said the TIller 32 Bit upgrades do not work on Vista.
Apparently the problem is not with the game engine per se but the 32 bit patch. I see no reason if they could adapt the Campaign series (West Front,East Front,etc ) to run on Vista they cannot do the same for the Battleground system.
Thing is Tiller is probably too busy with HPS to spend the time for a Visat compatible upgrade.
Frankly,if the games are not up to the standard of the 32 bit upgrade,I will not bother to buy them.
But I think they will be for no other reason then BG Chickamauga has all the features of the upgrade;in face,the 32 bit upgrade was to bring the former games up to Chickamauga standards.
