AAR: Defense of the USSR part 10

The germans are unprepared for this and the next 2 winter turns. I must make the best of these turns or face annihialition in the german summer offensive.

In the north i attack a german unit from 4 different sides.

And the 123rd Corps, that dared to enter our forests, is as good as wiped off the map.

Around Moscow a series of succesfull counter attacks take place.. South of moscow i even wipe out a german artillery unit behind their lines.

Around Stalingrad i do a succesfull counterattack before retreat behind the river.
Next turn more production should arrive here to finally strengthen this front.

In the caucasus a succesfull counterattack has started too.

German turn 11

My scientists have an R&D breakthrough. I will upgrade fighters.

I straighten the line in the center. Attacking one salient while withdrawing from a few hexes.

I throw a road across the river to the south of Stalingrad and clear another hex West of the Don

Reinforcements have gone to the Caucausas. I hope to hold the kerch straight.

I just came over from the PT forum and what do I have to see? Germans on the retreat! That's ... saaaaad ... oh, no, that war's over ...! [:(]

Lol, of course that war is NOT over.
It´s just the bad winter phase. When the germans survived this (and they will)
you´ll be surprised to see their 1942 summer offensive [;)]
For Vic and his russians it is absolutely needed to drive the germans away from important targets
to win some time. And of course cause high losses as possible as he did already.
But he need more of these attacks and he has to force the germans to go some hexes back.
If he can´t achieve this he won´t survive the german 1942 attacks that´s sure !
