Battleships ???

I have been waiting ages for one of these to turn up but nothing, Is there a thing that triggers them (ie research item etc) as I have been shooting down Battlecruisers for at least 6 months and still nothing which is annoying as I cant research any later stuff ???

I believe it is strictly a time thing. You will probably see them soon

I have been fighting battlecruisers for about a year now and have done all research I can until I get the Battleships so hopefully wont be long as at the end of second year and getting very repetitive

another thread states that the first battleship should arrive between June 2109 and April 2110. I am in my 2nd game but I did not notice when they first showed up for me.

The wait does seem to go on forever, but once they arrive things pick up and the rest of the game will move steadily to the conclusion. I got my battleship when they attacked my base and were defeated. I think it was June of 2109 but may have been later.
