Scenario Editor patching Serial # bug

Hello everybody. Its my first post here and I regret to post in Tech Support section.

I have strange bug. When I try to patch Editor to v6.0 I always get message that my serial # is invalid. Wth is this?

I patching game without problems, but I cannot patch game editor with same serial#?

I tried Serial # retr. tool and it confirmed that I using the proper one. [btw: I bought game in the local store not online]

After failed patch I had checked [Scen] directory. And I found Database Editor v6.0 but no Scenario Ed v6.0. How is that possible?

That is correct. Only the database editor was changed.

As far as the serial # problem, I do not know. Someone else should be able to help.

This section is for the game itself - you might try the Editor forum for more help...

BUT - make sure if you are entering your serial number by cut-n-paste, that you have no extra blanks at the end. If you have an extra space/blank, you will get an error.

So it appear that even with that bug Database Editor is extracted after all.

Well I can provide SS with the message and my boxed cover with serial #, but it will of little use because I will need to cut the serial # so nobody will use mine. [:D][:D]

Please also notice. Game patch progressed without problems. Just with Editor.

But now everything is clear, no Senario Ed v6.0.
