Collapsing Buildings

Post by Seth »

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when a squad is in a building that is hit by a shell and collapses, it just falls down around their ears like in a Warner Bros. cartoon. I haven't noticed this causing any supression or casualties. I think it should definitely cause both.

Yup, it would be nice if they could do that. I think 40% to 70% casualties for a stone building and 20% to 40% for a wood building would be nice.

Maybe the units are bailing from the building, as they see various collapsing.

Funny that this topic was created, as today it happened to me in the 'French move' scenario that a unit inside building actually got casualties when the building collapsed.

I had a 6-men squad in that building when one of my tanks decided to park itself inside that house with known results (Crumple...stuck tank). That infantry unit suffered 4 casualties in the resulting building collapse.
