Moving units question

Post by jcjordan »

Just bought game yesterday & got most if it down but one thing that eludes me is how to move the Brits from England to France or move them anywhere across the sea. I've got transports on amphib in N Atl but the option to move the units from Southhampton across to France isn't there & the manual doesn't go into details on how to do things like this. Any help appreciated.

I'd be nice when a patch came out that there would be some kind of tutorial added to the pdf file.

IIRC one of the English ports is in the Nth Sea, the other in the Nth Atlantic - it was quite common for me to have the ships in the wrong area to move troops!!

Fortunately moving the troops wuithin England is pretty simple tho - so try moving to the other port......

I really should have explained that somewhere.  Southampton is considered on the North Sea side and Plymouth is on the Atlantic side.  So if your transports are ready in the North Atlantic you have to leave from Plymouth.

Thanks for reply, will see what happens. I'm looking forward to your update to Sumpter as I played your original release way back when.
