Keeping Labels Permanently VIsible Plus Macros

Post by lparkh »

1) Macros -- fyi it is possible to assign new hotkeys via the program "macro express". I find this very convenient for setting up my standard display options etc etc each time I startup. Anything you can do with a mouse or menu can be macroed. Friendly tip :-)
2) Labels always on -- I know "shift" gets them visible while shift is down but I would like them always visible. this happened to me once so must be possible .please advise :-)

on my 3rd attempt to beat 10th panzer in tunisia (one of the campaigns I couldn't beat in the old series (beat 90% of rest :) )

Press and hold Shift, press Alt and your labels should stay on.

Hmm, that's weird. That should work. I will test it at home tonight.

Jason, is there any chance to implement something like the Panzer Campaigns "alternate labels" for the text (instead of the white box that obscures the terrain behind it)?

No idea actually. I noticed this request before but am unsure how to go about making it work.

I don't think you can, they are at the bottom of the .map file, if you open with word, not sure if you can assign a transparent color to the background, it currently is white, and probably in an exe somewhere but never dug around that deep.
