Can the British land in Europe with contested waters? Also, which water areas would the CP need to control or contest to slow down the arrival of the UK?

Anyone can amphib in contested waters provided they have the transports there.  To prevent it yuo need to control the waters.

The CP needs to control:

a) the North Sea, to prevent transport to Holland & Belgium;
b) the Baltic & the Northh Sea, to prevent transfers to Russia;
c) the North Atlantic, to prevent transport to France;
d) the Eastern Med, to prevent transport to the Balkans and/or Suez.
