Resolution? Icons?

Hi all,

I've been running the old Europe in Flames version (WF + EF2) under XP on my laptop with no problems at all. Anyway, after monitoring the forums for a while and seeing the commitment from Matrix, I decided to take the plunge a buy JTCS. As I was reimaging my laptop, I figured I might as well install a fully XP compatible version, not that I'd had any issues, but more importantly I'd get all the expansion sets plus RS.

Well, everything looks the same except the icons. They are so much smaller! In 2D normal view they look closer to 2D zoom out view, even 3D normal view is noticeably smaller. This is a real big issue for me because my laptop screen is small and, as a result, any view except 3D normal view is unusable. For all I know I could be playing bug wars [:)]

So, have I installed this incorrectly, because I am surprised no one else has mentioned it, or does everyone have 21" monitors? At the moment this is not very playable, so hopefully there is a fix out there ...

Hmm, odd.

For laughs, try using a different resolution, 1024 x 768 and see what happens.

Hi Jason,

Tried that, no difference. Could you post screen shots of Red Devils at Arnhem in 2D and 3D normal view? That way I could make some comparisons.
