Can we add team affinity for a player to the AI?

I just pulled off this trade:

Traded 1B Mark Teixiera, RHP macKay McBride, and RHP Heath Bell to Mariners for OF Ichiro Suzuki, C Kenji Johjima, and LHP George Sherrill

Now statistically, this makes sense when you consider ages and overall stats but we all know Seattle would never trade Ichiro. In a future update, would it make sense to add an option where a team won't trade a certain guy? I know it might be hard to do since it involves a judgement call but could you see the above trade happening even if it made sense statistically?

Just curious what you guys think.
