Silly question

I have a silly question,i have downloaded the patch and saved it to the desktop,installed the patch.I am now left with the original file sat in my desktop,is it ok to delete it?

You mean I beat Jason to this??? [&:] If you mean you have the patch still on your desktop, either save it for later or delete it or both. If you installed the patch, you no longer need it.

EDIT: I do save all my patches on an external hard drive. If you ever reinstall XP, which I don't know how you could keep from it after six months to one year, you won't have to download it again. [;)]

Yes, as you can always download it again. But I keep patches on a seperate drive just in case in need to reinstall. So you could just move it someplace else.

The nerve of work, blasted meeting getting in the way of replying!

Andym, I would store the ZIP file in a folder in your matrix install for safe keeping as a precaution.

By my count, that's a fourth-place finish.  Gentlemen, print this one, frame it, put it on a wall, and challenge anyone to beat it.
