This is a similar thing to a semi-regular thing I had on the WitP forum.

NAME THE PILOT
As it says really. Who is the pilot? All the pilots I use have achieved something fairly notable (not just 5 kill ace or similar). Some are easier than others. This first one flew during the time covered in BoB and BTR.

my first guess from looking would be Guy Gibson, but HARD to tell from a phote like that (but the hair matches

He was the RAF top scoring night fighter pilot.
