Un-assigned friendlies

I would like the game to feature friendly units that the player has no control over.

These units will more than likely be infantry/gun types that are either on his flank or are part of some mission (rescue cutoff infantry). The player gets no Spotting/Intel from them (maybe some ? simulating flare signal communication).

These units are solely under the control of the TACAI and/or mission scripting.
