The battle of Medjerda is almost forgotten, but was fought against highly disciplined German troops and blasted a route straight to Tunis it was a perfect infiltration battle and should be remembered as the best fought British battle of the war.

Full screen capture is too big for Matrix forums....You have to chop it up, and be sure to save it as a JPEG.

Good Luck!

Artillery strikes damage a enemy para platoon in Lemmel 1 SP,scout cars and Fireflys of C sqn continue to flank lemmel and come under fire from a mortar platoon to the NE return fire causes no damage.
An infantry platoon of A coy assaults the 75mm AT unit and destroys it then takes cover as it comes under fire from a para platoon in Lemmel supporting scoutcars engage but no losses suffered.
On thr road to Hechtel commbined fire from Maj Ed Tylers Bsqn and scoutcars does little to damage the enemy who destroy a 1 SP firefly.
Airstrikes and more artillery are called upon,Infantry support is needed but there is not to much to spare as this is an Armd heavy battle group

On the road to Hechtel B sqn and scoutcars of HHC assault a 4SP para platoon which reatreats without loss,an 81mm mortar platoon is engaged by 2 troops of scout cars without sustaining any loss,to the north of the road a para platoon gets a pounding from 2 troops of b sqns fireflies and loses 1SP,a German mmg platoon opens fire at long rangeto no effect, its clear now that this is an entire german para company dug in and there not going to be moved easily.
To the north of Hechtel the battlgroup of scoutcars and infantry are suffering at the hands of a dugin 6SP para platoon arrtilery strikes are called in and another platoon from A coy mves up to join the fight if they can break through they can take Hechtel from the north and trap the para coy blocking B sqns progress.

At Lemmel Inf and Tanks assault the para platoon but are repulsed although subsequent op fire reduces them to 5SP,north of Lemmel HHC scoutcars and Tanks push on and engage an 81mm platoon whith is destroyed and a 6SP para platoon is engaged at long range by scoutcars and a mmg carrier platoon and is forced to withdraw,

HHC scoutcars recce towards Joe bridge the main objective.

Artillery and airstrikes acheive nothing this turn on the road to Hechtel the combined firepower of B sqns tanks and scoutcars supported by infantry also acheives nothing more airstrikes and artillrey are planned this para platoon is hear till the bitter end,

The assault on Lemmel succeeds the para platoon retreats with tanks assaulting them twice more although they retreated they suffer no SP loss. This is the first objective acheived with only 5 turns left.

Scoutcars and tanks race on to the main objective Joes bridge and another bridge 10 VP s here scoutcars and the mmg carrier engage a German para platoon which is forced to retreat into some woods and losses 1SP

On the road to Hechtel tanks assault a 2SP para platoon but are repulsed,an air and arty strike again acheive nothing but fire from tanks and infantry force a 4SP para platoon to withdraw still no headway is made towards the 10VP town of Hechtel.

Carriers and scoutcars assault a para platoon north of Hechtel which is forced to withdraw no SP loss.

At Lemmel the 5SP para platoon is assaulted twice by tanks and withdraws but no SP loss the infantry are picked up by there carriers and head of to Joes bridge.

At joes bridge tanks of A sqn supported by HHC scoutcars and infantry from Acoy under the command of JOE Vandeleur encounter heavy resistance two 6SP para platoons two 4SP mmg platoons and an 81mm mortar platoon an arty strike is called in on both mmg platoons the RAF can no longer provide air support
