EXp60.fx error

Getting two errors. Game play does not go on very long, when I get the following errors.

Exp60.fx cannot load, reinstall close combat.

or

BIEnd.fx. cannot load, reinstall close combat.

Reinstall does not fix[&:]
Running AMD 2000 mhz, Windows XP, service pack II, 1 gig memory.

Have you installed from a disk or a download?
 
 
At what p[oint do you get this error?

Thanks for the reply. I am playing the downloaded version of the game.

The error usually occurs within the first 30 seconds of starting a battle.

If you do a search on your disk, do you find those two files?
