Conditional Effects

Conditional Effects

I'm back to working on creating a scenario (pleased that it actually plays now without crashing), however, I'm having a bit of an issue with the Conditional Effects. I want to set up an invade mission that requires the delivery of 30 cargo points. I created an invasion force with 45 cargo points so that they could sustain some losses and still complete the mission. But the problem is that when they deliver all 45 cargo points it results in a draw...seems that I have to deliver exactly 30 points and not more or it treats the condition as failed? Anybody else experience this? Is there a way to work around it?

That shouldnt be how it works. I'd have to see the scenario to tell you exactly why the draw occurs - feel free to send it thought to me at support@ssg.com.au . Without seeing it i'd guess there might be a problem with the conditional settings - ie are there conditions for both sides etc etc. Else, can you list the conditional missions for both sides, the victory point margins (ie points required for alld decisive, alld marginal etc etc), and the victory points at the end of the game that ended as a draw when it shouldnt have?

Thanks for your reply. It is quite possible I have some settings messed up, I'll play around with it and see if I can get it working. If not, I'll package it up and send to you.

Ok, I apologize, it is working now. I just removed the conditional effect, saved it and then re-added the condition later and now it works. Most likely I had done something wrong. Sorry about that.
