My Teams Manager call someone up from minors

I've never noticed this before, I had Simed three games and while watching results scroll by noticed one of my Minor Leaguers got a home run in the game. Checking his player card there was no record of his being sent up or down. There didn't appear to be any injuries, though most of my players appear tired.

Maybe I just miss read the text scrolling by.
