It's very uncertain if there's ever going be one. If one is ever released, it's going to be a very long time.

I talked with the matrix people at origins and they said there are no plans for any more updates for wpo.... isn't that some great support for a game[:@]

Just for the record, nobody at Matrix would be doing any actual work on the patch, except for putting an installer around it. What Tankerace had in mind would have been a database update, which would have been basically up to what time he and the testing team had available.

And considering that the game is barely two years old, was most definitely built on a shoestring, and has been largely dependent on the time of ONE man (Tankerace), I'd say this game has been supported better than could be expected.

What this game created above anything else is a thorough database - one that can be easily edited... and that's why it's awesome :)
