Poor Beavers

Post by MPHopcroft1 »

I got to listen to the Oregon State home opener tonight against Utah, and although they won the game 24-7 I felt bad for them. Coach Mike Riley insisted ion platooning his quarterbacks, pulling his starter just at the cusp of a promising drive. The guy he replaced him with promptly issued a pick that led to Utah's only score.

I can just imagine the press Riley, who was previously a failure at the NFL level and is in his second stint at OSU, is going to have to read in the morning.
