What's the deal with India? Ent can attack from India into Barsa, but CP can not attack from Barsa into India...

You expect the Ottomans to be able to attack India??[:D][:D]

the british were all set up to attack Basra virtually the 1st day of the war - they had sailed before hte Ottoman declaration in anticipation of it.  Fao peninsular was captured 8 November, Basra 22 November.

It's easier to abstract this peripheral theatre a bit rahtehr than extend the game by a heap to cope with 1 action.

You need to have transports on amphib in the Eastern Med to transport troops between India and Egypt.  To get from there to Europe you also need them in hte Western med to get them to Southern France.  Add teh Atlantic to get them to North-Western France (Bordeaux & Cherbourg), and also the Nth Sea if you want them to get to the English channel area (Dunkirik, Belgium, Netherlans, Germany, the UK)
