game screen is too big

Post by leftydad »

Sorry if this is a dumb question (and I’ve tried searching this forum), but I can’t see the bottom of the game screen, so I can’t see the results of battle action, etc. Not even if I “drag” the game screen up, I still can’t see the bottom of the game screen.

How can you play the game if you can't see the bottom of the game screen? (I’m not talking about the “map,” I’m talking about the bottom window of the game where units are described and game action is displayed).

as of the last patch (v1.10), GoA supports the following screen resolutions:

1024x768
1280x1024
1280x800

Try picking the one that matches your default desktop settings.  My desktop is 1024x768, so that is what I use for GoA.  If I pick 1280x1024, then, like you, I can not see the bottom part of the game screen.  If you want to use the higher resolution, then you'll probably need to change your desktop to match....

It sounds like you have "large fonts" on in Windows.  This will cause problems similar to what you're describing.
