I just bought a new laptop and I wanted to install Witp. Vista tells me " Incorrect function" . I also used compatiblity mode with XP SP2 and Run as Administrator to no avail. Any ideas?

I solved it doing this: I run a cmd prompt as an administrator (make sure it says on prompt window "Administrator", then type the long setup file name. and it works. Hope it will help someone.

VISTA is an evil piece of work... people have a fair amount of problem installing files. Normally, if you install the files to the main directory (i.e. C:/matrix games/ etc. then it is suppsed to work ok... but if you want to install it elsewhere you can run into problems (as you have seen)... this solution might help other folks trying to install it.
