Naval Refitting

Post by *Lava* »

So...

I can only seem to refit each ship one time per turn.

A damage DN with 14 damage thus needs 14 turns to repair.

Is this correct?

Yes and no. Don't you love clear answers [;)]

You can only repair one point per turn but the repair number is random but at least one. So in your case it takes a maximum of 14 turns to repair but rather something like half that.

You can check on this by comparing the damage number before and after doing the repair (hitting the "OK" button).

Also remember you're repairing squadrons, not just single ships.

I'm not complaining...

Just wanted a clarification.

I think I remember one time when you used to be able to make multiple refits to a ship unit in the same turn.

Just remember to choose raiding as mission type - that is if you just want presence and perhaps the odd chance of finding transports [8D]

It also improves endurance [;)]

The best ships for Raiding missions are Battlecruisers and Cruisers, not Dreadnaughts.

Well...

They have already been sent.

Yups but German DN with a speed of 2 on patrol order isn't that likely to get unscattered past presumably Entente DN in the North Sea as well as avoiding Entente patrols in the North Atlantic ?

Same goes true with return voyage.
