Newby ? about using SP2 IDF Scen and Cmpgns on SPWAW

I want to get the Steel Panthers 2 Israeli scenarios and campains working in SPWAW? Does anyone know if this has been done and if so how? Really enjoyed it...if that doesn't work, does anyone know how to get Steel Panthers 2 working on an XP machine.

The two games are not cross-compatable....you can't convert a scenario from one to the other. And SPWAW is a WWII period game, not modern day (which SP2 is). So there would be all kinds of problems with icons and unit data.

Closest you could come would be to either tweak up custom OOBs/maps/scenarios to replicate the desired details (or skip the OOB fiddling and restrict yourself to the SPWAW OOBs - the '48 war, essentially), or go with SPMBT (either the original or the Sharpnel Games Windows-version), and probably still have to do map/scenario editing. Unless someone cloned those scenarios/campaigns already...
