Printing draft pool; rosters

Post by GlennN »

Is there a way to print a draft pool (actually, I am unable to even view the draft pool before it is my team's turn to draft)? How about rosters - can they be printed? Thanks!

You can export the roster and then you have a html file.

Thanks, Tullius, I see that now on the roster screen. How about the draft pool (so one can study who to take in the first round over a nice bowl of corn flakes)? I do not see an "Export" button on that screen. Is there any way to view the pool outside the game?

That might be tough, if you have any number of teams in your league the game creates a ton of players, like several hundred per position.

True, but I only have a 10 team league. You have a valid point. Maybe printing the draft pool is not something most folks would even want to do.

No, I think you are like me. I like to have printouts of stuff, actually everything if possible. It would also help online leagues if there was a html printout of the draft pool.

Is there a third party editor out there yet (like there was with FBPro)? That could probably be used to view (and print and edit) the draft pool.

I would also like to beable to print the draft pool & rosters. I will run a 18-32 team league.
We should have the option to do so. It is annouying to me  that it is not an option.
Don't make this game like Madden, where you can't print anything. I know you print most
things. But if you can't print draft & study it, that's just silly & poor planning. How hard
is it to incorporate that into the game?[:@]

My brother told me that someone at E.A. Sports had said you can copy the screen & paste it in a "paint" program.
Then you should be able to print it from there. I guess I am answering my own rant.
My brother was on phone with E.A. about another game. Thought I'd pass that on. Hope it works.

A work around would be to look in the league database after the draft pool is generated. Someone has made a database viewer. I think you can find the tool www.fbmax.com . But i agree a tool that read the database and create a file would be very nice.
