Kicking game?

Post by simmer »

David I just wanted to say that this game has met most of my expectations. It is very exciting to see my college league Division 1A and 1AA come to life. The new version is very well thought out with all the bells and whistles. I do have a question about the kicking game? I hate to beat a dead horse, but I play coach mode and the kickoffs dont travel into the endzone as they do in real games. I think the farthest kickoff that I seen traveled to the 20 yard line. What can I do to improve this? However the newest agressive AI does contain the kick returner keeping the game very competitive. Love the added annimations.[:D]

That's what i've been seeing also, while watching a number of CPU vs CPU Quick Play games. I've never seen a kickoff go past the 20.

hi im pretty new to the game also only had it a few days ...
a bitt tuff to get started but i got a little league goin now with college rated players also... and ditto on the kickoffs punts seem great tho hopefully a fix for this sometime only glaring thing i see with funny stats .i may also try rerates on the kickers since we only have 8 teams right now hopefully wont be to hard.

really like the game so far i dont play on coach mode really i just watch and make players from poeple i know and some all timers from the nfl.

really like the game so far my only bit of complaints is no trades or contracts etc but i will get over it.could always find a way to track contracts\trades 3rd party sometime down the road maybe if thats possible?

anyways to the game its just to cool to be able to customize a league so much and have good football games to control and watch with realistic stats etc.really glad i found this place i can stop wasting time trying to tweak madden so much and use it if i want a little thumb action but for now its MaxFB!thx guys great sim! As the resident nut who plays both arcade and coach mode, I've seen plenty of kickoffs in both modes, but haven't seen one travel into the endzone yet.  The good thing in Arcade mode is that I'm getting pretty close to getting some touchbacks after slightly lowering the trajectory.  The kicks are more line-drive in nature, but they're travelling pretty far.  Maybe the kick power/trajectory just needs a slight tweak now for coach mode?
