Milestones not showing up

Post by evilmonkeycmand »

I'm having a problem especially with the Strikeout Milestone appearing on the player's cards. It appears that the only way it shows up is if the player finishes the game with that number. So unless the player finishes the game with exactly 1000 K's, or 150 HR's, or whatever, it will not get listed on the player card. Can this be fixed?

evil,

I don't know offhand about the strikeouts because I haven't glanced at my ace pitcher's card in a while. However, I was looking at my star left fielder today and his Milestone tab surely listed his 400th home run, and all other previous increments.

Wow, that is a GREAT catch. I just looked at the code and you are right, it is doing that! (It does it for Hits, HR and K's). I just fixed it and will do some testing with the fix. Its borderline on whether this is serious enough to warrant a hot fix, as opposed to waiting for next season's version, but I guess since it involves player history it is. What do you guys think?

I agree. To notice the problem took a sharp eye, but to determine what was causing it...wow. Strong work, evilmonkey![&o]

Shaun, I personally am in no hurry to see this issue fixed, but I think I will be in the minority this time. So...I vote for a hotfix.

Granted, I could be insane, but I still think that the HR milestone appears in the players' cards. I did check my pitchers and their strikeout milestone does not show, so that is surely in need of repair. His Win milestones do though.

I agree, If it can mess up the history of a league, I think it should be fixed. I can understand if it doesnt get fixed though.

If I understand the problem correctly, the wins milestone should work everytime, because you cant get more than one win per game, so it goes up in increments of 1. The K's could definitely be a problem since somone can go from 1495-1505 fairly easily. HR's would be much less probable, but someone could go from 498 or 499 -501 in a game
