Starting a League Game

Post by JudgeDredd »

I'm sorry for being a little "thick", but I'm having difficulty starting a game.

I do the following:
  • Load the game
  • Click Play
  • Click on League Game
  • Scroll to West and Denver
  • Click on End Season
  • Click on Draft
  • Click on Auto-Draft (because I don't know what I'm doing!)
  • Click on Training Camp
    [*} Then what?

Sorry. I'm sure it's covered somewhere, but from the interface, it's not clear what I should be doing to take charge of a team and take it through to the Superbowl, where I think it should be.

It could realy be down to my lack of knowlegde of the game system and/or lack of manual reading, but I think it really should be evident from the interface where you are going...and it appears not to be.

Any help would be appreciated

Thx

If you want to have a human controlled team, you must select a team and click on Edit Team to set the team to human controled.

To play a game, go into the league schedule and click on one of the games.  You will be given a prompt to play the game or sim the game.

Prior to that, you may want to set up your Roster and Depth Chart if you have a human controlled team.  The roster should match the number of players indicated in the Team Profile.

No Problem.

I suspect I should note here that one may simulate all of the games run by computer controlled players only and still play the human controlled games.  Just click on a game, and click on Simulate, and the game will ask if that game or that week should be simulated.  It has a button to choose not to play games with human controlled teams.

By now, you likely already know that, but I thought it would be a good follow up for anyone lurking in this thread with similar questions.
