Minor bug in "movies" pictures

Post by Telumar »

Has this already been reported? From a "end of turn"-bmp (movies on):

Note the distance between place name and actual location.

Hi Stefan,

What's the spacing like if you use the bitmapped fonts, instead of the Windows fonts?

I'd say it's one hex further up (uups - had hex grid off this time), but still below the actual location:

Maybe the VP display has something to do with it. In the in-game small 2D view it's very tight together, with the VP points in the upper row and the place name below, but both rows fit perfectly into the hex.

I have also noted the two-hex southwards text shift in movie pics. I have also come across a not-so-minor bug regarding movie pics: Sometimes, only the upper-left corner of the screen will show up in the pic - the rest of the battlefield is blank

Do you have a repeatable case of this? What software are you using to open the bmp files? For viewing, as well as editing.

First I was about to answer 'unfortunatley no', but I thought I would give it a try, and bingo: It all has to do with using the mouse wheel to zoom out! Playing hot-seat, the player turn pics got cut as in the posted example if and only if I had done a zoom-out sometime during that player turn (only zooming in seems okay, though). I hope this makes it easier to track down this bug [:)]
