Crash: Audiere.dll

Post by Lance »

I can't start the game b/c audiere.dll was not found. I looked it up & it seems to be some audio program. Do I need to download this to play?

Hmm, that's a new one.

I will take a look at my system and see if I have it.

My GeForce driver & DirectX are updated as far as I can tell; anything I could be missing?

Well, I did a search on my machine for it, and it appears that the file will be found in each of the game folders.

You might want to reinstall, update, repatch and ensure all the files are installed correctly.

Yes, that's used by the game's audio system. I'm not sure why it would suddenly be missing, but the advice to uninstall and reinstall sounds like a good way to fix it.

Hi,

Just downloaded version 1.03 and I am getting this "audiere.dll was not found" message as well.

Can you tell me what to do?

Thanks.

When I get home, I'll see about zipping the file and posting it.

At work at the moment.
