Double check with Batlleline

Call for Volunteers! This sub-forum is devoted to our ongoing project of researching and
writing brief biographical sketches of all 1000 Civil War generals, each
of whom has a chance of appearing when one plays "Forge of Freedom."
Players are invited to participate in providing info for these bios, which will be added to the game by means of patches, as they are
written.

Double check with Batlleline

Post by jkBluesman »

Battleline,

I would like to do the following Confederates. As far as I know none of them has been done so far, but please tell me if I am wrong.

Archer, J.J.
Humphreys, Benjamin G.
Johnson, Edward

I will also do Johnson Hagood when he will be added to the FoF list someday in the future.

jkbluesman,
I was getting close to Johnson and Humphery, but I'll stay away from them. Archer wouldn't be on my list for a L-O-N-G time, a few weeks at leastImage
Thanks,
Battleline

As you must be close to "G" and "F", I would just like to tell you to spare Samuel G. French for me as well as Crittenden, the Confederate who lost Kentucky.
When the Southerners are all down, do you plan on to write Union generals from "Z to A"?

Battleline, just wanted to let you know that I am moving on to James Deshler, Arnold Elzey and B.D. Fry. I will also do the Union general Alfred Duffié.

jkBluesman,
Thanks! I've been moving a bit slow lately in regards to the generals project. I've had a number of other issues to deal with lately, including trying to work on our vintage base ball team's Web site, family tree stuff, work issues and the same general small things which come up but need to be dealt with in a timely manner.
I'm going to start back by expanding on my distant cousin, William G. Lewis.
Thanks,
Battleline

Slow is fine. As you guys can tell, I've slowed down -- work is carving into a lot of my time. But I'll try to do some here and there, now and then.
Michael Jordan plays ball. Charles Manson kills people. I torment eager potential customers by not sharing screenshots of "Brother Against Brother." Everyone has a talent.
