Why do keep losing>

G"day all, I have been playing around with this game, i have played a few random battles and have lost them all. a message comes up saying i have lost, but there no summary or stats. Are these random battles just a quick city grab and the side that grabs the first 80% of cities wins, or is the science a bit more precise than that? Is the game length governed by time? I would like to see an end of battle summary.

There is none so to speak.

Instead you get full details in the statistic screen when a game is either won or lost. But you can still keep playing.

Game length is set to a fixed amount of turns from the scenario creater.

Some scenarios i guess have victory conditions such as you win if you get 80% of the VP's etc. regardless of what turn it is.

So in random games there is no time limit purely VP only?

Im not 100% sure if there isnt some extreme turn limit of lets say 200 or whatnot but i dont think so. I think its pure VP only yes.

Correct, it's all about the towns. As you say, the VP's to win equal holding 80%. Each town equals 1VP. There's no time limit. I've had random games go on forever! Gotta love that.. I hate an arbitrary end to a game
