Well im still into my first Game as CP and since i like "what if"´s i wanted Italy to join the CP-side, so i checked the "Italy joins CP" box and went on with my Russia-first strategy. After 3 successful overtures (one of them had been very much apprectiated) and one counter-overture by the TE, Italy joined the CP to snatch some lost Territory back from the French. My initial assault towards Toulon failed after taking two Mountain hexes i was pushed back by the the fresh french ([;)]) Forces and they even managed to break across the border and capture Turin. Historians would later call this move the Italian Gambit since they were ill prepared against a fully mobilised adversary. Sorry for being so narrative, what would you consider as valid Strategies for the Italian-French front? Obviously i have to bolster the Italian lines with German Forces to hold and dig in as fast as possible to minimize artillery casualties but i have to think about what to do with that Front in the Future.
Also there is an Issue regarding Air Support: The French Forces in French Territory are regarded as being in the West Front Theater so i can fly reconnaisance Missions on them while the French Forces in Turin are considered as being in the Italian Front where i dont have any Planes. I can see where this is coming from, obviously each hex is assigned to a Front Theatre but it doesnt make much sense when Italy joins the CP and opens a French-Italian Front.
