I open this list for all possible improvements/wishes on the community site.

1. Possibility to change email adress in own settings

2. own password as *******

3. More info´s on running games especially scenario played (a small form to fill before game start)

4. Something like a referee for disputes/cheats. As it is now the cheat/dispute is nearly useless
when it really impacts BOTH players and not only the cheating one. Referee/Mod has to check
the turns in question or look at screens coming from the players.

5. Option to name the empires (player nicks) before the game starts. Important for PBEM´s (and helpful for point 4)
Automatic function would be the best !! Player choose the scenario on a form and first player get a modified scenario file with it´s name
and the opponents name already filled to play the first turn when the opponent has accepted the challenge.
I think this is possible to implement for the "Official Ladder"

Many more possible. I hope you guy´s add some more things and/or do some comments on the changes i suggested.

regards,

Juergen

PS: Maybe it´s possible to pin that thread somewhere.

Yep ! And what Vic is going to face now is the creative enthusiasm of all his new worshippers. He's going to have a hard time. So, let's join the crowding party [8D]

Lacking much time right now for suggestions, just one about the map display : I'd appreciate to have more room for the map, and/or to have a zoom option.

Localization for non english speakers, spanish in my case. That is, an easy way to edit all the english strings in the game.

1. agreed.

4. the idea of the current system is that you might want to decline playing a player who has a lot of disputes or cheat warnings. its in your own long term interest to not let it build up.

Arghhh, i new this thread would disappear within a few days [:(]

I wish to have a way to communicate to players. At least i want to tell them why i had to
decline their challenge. The "you have been challenged"-email i can´t answer and i have no way to contact a player.

A PM function would be nice and maybe a small own forum only for the registered players.
Or at least a comment field where i can explain why i declined a challenge.
Had to set myself on "Holiday" now.....

@db99
This thread is only for improvements to the community/ladder site, not for the game self.
For the game exist already several other threads.

But you´re right, several more hotkeys would be great [:)]

seille is speaking of the community site AdvancedTactics.org, where there's a Casual Ladder and an Official Ladder.

I agree. Definitely at least a field when you "Decline" a challenge.

And adding a PM (Private Message) function would also be a big help, and eventually a forum.

But whatever is easiest to do for the moment --- Victor has enough headaches as it is.

Another way would be to let players decide if they want to show their email adresses or not.
Better way is a comment field for declining and overall a PM function.
