Retired Players and "Dream teams"

Post by long_time_fan »

Hi all,
I am still playing my modified CFL and love this game!!! I do have a suggestion for a future build of this game.
1. I think that it would be nice to have team records which include the totals of retired players.
2. Add a stat category "games played" to the league stats lists (both season and league history sections).
3. Allow for "legacy" teams. (i.e. teams with the best players from different eras playing together).
My league has now been around for 10+ seasons and some key players have retired. As leagues age and numbers of players retire, I would like to see how dream teams would do against each other, or against the current squads.

I believe the game keeps these stats, but there is not a way to bring them up.
2. Add a stat category "games played" to the league stats lists (both season and league history sections).

Games (G) played and games started (GS) would be nice. Having games recorded allows more statistics to be interpolated.
3. Allow for "legacy" teams. (i.e. teams with the best players from different eras playing together).

This may be able to be done with a third party utility.
