More Mod stuff

Post by MartNick »

Hi

I also had a look at reinstating Greg Gorsuch's excellent mod for Eylau. Works fine in the old NiR. So should be OK in the Matrix edition, I'll have a look at this tomorrow. Here is a screenie.

Last post for tonight.

A page of add-ons and scenarios from John Tillers site for the 32-bit versions of the BG series. Haven't tried any of them in the Matrix edition, but may well be worth a look at.

Not sure how good your Russian is but you could try http://komikor.narod.ru/eylau.html . If you have trouble post and I'm sure one of those nice Russian lads will try to help.

Ya know if not for the cyrilics I could sound it out and do a lot of inference;^) But actually it looks like the same format for the stuff on NIR Project so I think I could figure it out. Thanks for the link!

Hi

I have two (big) zipped files for this. If you have an FTP server or somewhereI could upload too, I can do that.

Maybe Matrix could provide some download space for these mods? Would be a nice central area to get them all together. How does this sound Erik?

Hi David

The Eylau mod from Greg Gorsuch is in two zipped files that can be unpacked straight in the game without using Filesplitter, so can be played quite easily. I'm quite happy to upload the files so that people can dl them.

There is also quite alot of unit graphic updates floating around the net, which might be nice for people to get at.

I'd love to get that Eylau mod if it gets uploaded.

I also would be grateful if Matrix could provide space for Battleground Mods uploads.[8D]

Hi Guys

I will be working this issue this week to arrange something. Sorry for the delay in getting back to everyone but the Christmas rush has been hitting us hard.

Greg's Eylau and Pultusk mods were AFAIK the very first mods made for Battlegrounds. I have them stored somewhere on a BG Mod CD, I have to look it up.

I guess that means Matrix is making money, so that's a good thing, right? [:)]
