Question on Game

Post by donkuchi19 »

Hello all,

I am not really familiar with this title although I own many other Matrix titles. (Puresim, WITP, GGWaW, CotD, CoG, Gates of Troy, Spartan, and Reach for the Stars). I have spent the bulk of my gaming time the last year or so playtesting EIA. What I am wondering now that it is close to release is, is this game worth it?

I do play Squad Leader and this looks similar. The advantage computer games have is that you don't have dogs or six year olds messing up the counters. Is this game like Squad Leader? If so, I would look forward to a change of pace from Napolean for a while.

Thanks,
Don

Hi  I'm just looking around the forum while the download for CoI is running.  Of coarse I haven't looked at this version yet, but The Russian Front CCIII is one of my all time favorite games.  I'm very pleased to see it now in Matrix's library.  A great game joined with a great gaming company, and a great gaming community.  I'm also looking forward to the release of EinA, another of my all time favorite games.  Add these two games to WitP which is my main squeeze right now, and it looks like 2008 is going to be a very busy year for me.  By the way, the Battleground series is another set of games I've enjoyed, and have a bunch of mods for, but enough is enough and I'll have to put Tiller's games on hold for a while.  Oh oh! 97%.  Time to go.
The world has never seen a more impressive demonstration of the influence of sea power upon history. Those far distant, storm-beaten ships, upon which the Grand Army never looked, stood between it and the dominion of the world. -- Alfred Thayer Mahan
