How to save a battle?

Hi!

Although the stock scenarios are rather short I will sometimes not be able to play one in just one session. How to save a battle and continue later? Nothing to be found in the manual or did I missed something? Thanks.

There is no ability to save a battle.

You can pause a battle - F3

or alt-Tab out and the game will wait for your return.
