So, any first impressions. How is the interface???

This new Commander's Edition of Harpoon Classic includes land units, neutral and unknown sides, an improved radar and area ECM model and a host of other improvements. Rounding that out are over 200 scenarios and the WestPac Battleset. Try out this great new version of the classic Harpoon!

So, any first impressions. How is the interface???

Post by Awac835 »

Id like to know how people feel about the interface. What was a real show stopper for me in ANW was the interface. Im not talking pretty graphics but overall functionality. If i have to click myself to death ill pass on this one.

Is information easy to get to through hotkeys on the keyboard, opening closing windows, navigating around with the keyboard or is everything done with the mouse.

I saw a 10 min gameplay video posted by Tony and saw a few hotkeys for different stuff, but hard to get a impression off how it is from a video.

Thx

edit:
Might as well ask about multiplayer to. Is it all done in realtime meaning a 3 hour session? or can you speed up time as in single player?

HCE has no multiplayer.  However, I am open to living wage contracts to add such capability [;)]

HC3 has the worst UI of any game i have ever played

HCE's UI is simple and intuitive

the one downside to HCE is no multiplayer

as a matter of interest why is there TWO harpoon titles?

From what I now, some time in the past years ago the decision was made to make H3 the focus of future development probably because they can get some government contracts and earn money from H3pro.

Wow NO multiplayer? Hmm I think I will purchase to support the product and the future editions but I will stick to the revised Fleet Command for MP play.

Maybe next time around................
