AE Plank-owners

Could Matrix set up a pre-order option for plank-owners? This would give some insight into the market and also set up a basis for beta-testing without losing sales.

'Plank owners' are members of the crew which puts a ship into commission - the original crew. In this case, those who, like me, would volunteer (gladly I might put in!)to prepay for the game right now!

I would also like to prepay for this and become a plank owner!

Wow, after reading the Admirals edition threads I can see that a LOT of time and thought went into making this a great project.  Thanks to everyone involved!

Max Planck: Physicist. Nobel prize 1918. Planck's constant.

Plank holder: A term that means a member of the original crew.

I will happily pre-pay and make a commitment to this exciting development.

Edit: Boy am I slow. Lot's of people answered before I did.

I would also gladly pre-pay, especially if it gave me a shot at helping to beta-test. Heck, I'd probably be willing to pay more than the purchase price for that opportunity. :) As the original poster says, pre-payment is a good way to ensure that you won't lose sales from beta-testers who "try" the game and then don't buy it. I routinely "buy" the betas for the "Galactic Civilizations" games, for example.
