Unit art & Emblems?

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Unit art & Emblems?

Post by BigDuke66 »

First.
Will unit art change over time as new paint schemas are introduced?

Not sure how it was in Europa but in the WitP corner there is a nice art pack that collects the changes made over the course of the war.

Second
How about reserving a section of the unit infos screen for embelms?

Similar to the way it is done for unit art but just not linked to the plane type that is used, instead linked to a database where every unit NAME is linked to an emblem.

I don't talk about bringing in the art yourselve. I'm sure you have enough to do.
I think that there will be enough people that are able to make some Emblems and they all could be collected to form a nice art pack with all the emblems for every unit that served in the war.

good ideas, and I have thought about and talked about

but...

the Art Work is moddable, if the people with skills in this area, want to do there own and or even better, do there own and share it with the rest of us, Great

for unit art, I had wanted this, and had done a lot of collecting and storeing of Unit Icons (of course, with my Computer going down, lost it all) but in the long run, was not in the budget, but could be done, overall, I think this would have to be a for down the road idea
