i assume you are playing Allies.

What i usually do is save the turn (nonfinalized), then finalize the turn (it will save the turn - i recommend saving under another slot).

Then send it to you opponent as an attachment.

Then Japan receives the turn and runs it, generates the combat AAR (witp001) - and should send it back to you. Tell them to also send a copy of the combat report. This way when you run the -001 file, you can check to make sure you don't have a replay bug.

After you get the witp001 file downloaded, save it in the SAVE folder. Then, i'd recommend rebooting (that helps to prevent a replay bug) then load WITP and load witp001 and it will run.

Take notes and make sure what you see is exactly the same as on the combat results.

If there is a problem, you can go back to the non-finalized turn and check your orders to see where things went wrong... you can't do this with the finalized turn.

EDIT: Japan may or may not send a game turn back to you when they send the WITP001.PWS file. Once you get the new game turn, you can load it (it will ask for your password) and start working on the turn.

If the password doesn't work, either your opponent did not finalize or the file was corrupted. First try downloading it again (once or twice). If that doesn't work, ask your opponent to check to see if they finalized, and have it resent.

As allied you simply send the save file that you did back to your opponent. So if say you saved a finalised move in 016.pws then you simply attach that to an email.

You opponent then runs the turn, and probably does his new orders. He should then send you the 001.pws (the combat replay file), the combat report, the ops report, the new 016.pws file back.... you then save these over the current files in your save folder and you can then examine the combat report and ops report and intel report(absolutely correct) and if you want to run the 001.pws which will show you a 'version' of the turn that has just been done.....
beware it may not be accurate.

Keep doing this over and over again for about 2000 turns plus and you will be well on the way to the end of the game...
