Random Pitch Control Loss!

Post by Stormstrike »

Alright... in dealing with all the bugs in this game one by one, this one is the most irritating at the moment.

When either launching from a carrier, or recovering from entering atmosphere of a planet, pressing the "~" key causes a constant "backwards pull on the stick". Pitch just constantly rotates upwards non-stop. I've checked the forums and all I've found was the case of constant corkscrewing, which was fixed by changing the settings in Options for Joystick, from "Both" to either "Joystick 1" or "Joystick 2". This is NOT my case.

It only happens when I toggle mouse control with the "~" key. With that off and control of the cursor, the issue doesnt occur.

I am not using a joystick, strictly mouse. The trigger seems to be completly random as I can sometimes go 4 missions without any problems, and then next carrier launch, Bam. I've even launched from the carrier with no problems, then broke orbit, and once I toggled mouse control, the issue occured. But sometimes it'll happen on the first mission after starting the game up.

Someone PLEASE help explain to me why this is happening.

Thanks in advance.
