Dutch Crash to Desktop

ALWAYS when the japs attack the Dutch MTB's the game crashes to desktop and I must restart. Doesn't matter where the Dutch MTB's are. Always combat initiated by the Japs.
Couple of shots in the combat sequence and the game tanks.
Anybody else having this woeful experience?[:@]

Sounds like you could have a problem with a faulty or missing art file for the Dutch MTB... this is one thing that will reliably cause a crash to desktop, esp. if there is one class of ships (or aircraft) which with the crash is associated. Check and/or reload your art files.

Is there a specific command switch when installing that will reload only the files you suggest?

No. The easiest thing to do is to completely un- and reinstall the game. Make a backup of your savegames first (in WITP\SAVES) and just copy them back after you have reinstalled the game and installed all patches again.

Anybody have the order in which the various patches are to be applied? Also the sites where they are located would be extremely helpful. Only saw a 3.3mb 1.806 patch on the Matrix site. I know there are several before that.
