PBEM won't load

Bought the game a few days ago. Fine in single player. Started a PBEM. My friend actually started it as the Axis player and sent me the turn. It loaded fine and allowed me to set the Allies password and play. Hit end turn and it saved and I emailed it to him.

He can't load the save - gets a message saying that the save was created with a previous version.

I have downloaded and installed the 1.04 patch and the opening screen definitely says my version is 1.04. This was done before I played the save. He also is using 1.04.

I am using Vista but don't really see how that should affect this issue?

Any ideas?

Does he defeintely have 1.04? Does he also see 1.04 on the screen? Are you sure you sent the correct saved game file? Check again and make sure it matches up with the date time stamp you would expect.

Yeah, I didnt load correctly

I think I have problem resolved



I put your email in my PBEM Folder, what I did wrong was when I launched the game, I clicked “Load” when I should have clicked “LOAD Multiplayer”
