Formation Air Patrols VTOL Carriers

In building games in the editor. If I include a VTOL (US) carrier, the formation air patrols get wierd. Even if I have Harriers on board they all get sent up as AEW patrols. If I delete them they come back.

In the starting Game Options, do you have 'Auto Formation Air Patrols' selected?
