How do you install the game

When I load the CD into the computer, the only item is a zip file. When I try to open it, nothing happens and when looking under task manager, it says the file is not responding . I searched the forums and found nothing on this. I thank anyone for help.

I have had some problems before with Matrix game disks where the comp didn't even recognize them as a valid disk to be able to read them.

Rebooting the comp helped as the second attempt read the disk OK.

I typically buy both digital download and hard copies and only use the hard copy as a backup.

As your system is finding both the disk and the file, I but seems to be having problems with the content of the file I would suggest copying the file from the disk to the hard drive first and then attempting to unzip or extract the files from the copy on the hard drive rather than trying to extract them directly from the disk.

As the files are compressed you can't just look at the compressed files and run the executable for the install from within the compressed file. You will need to extract or unzip them from the compressed file first and then run the uncompressed executable file for the install, in case you didn't know that already.

It is also possible that you got a disk with a bad file and will need to go through Matrix Customer Service to get it replaced.

What also might be the problem is anti virus. I've noticed when it tries to kick in and scan a large file I have (even a download), it takes an age.

I'd sit and wait....I'm sure it will load up eventually. I've had the exact same issue and it does always load up for me...eventually
