Bug in the editor: clip map margins

Post by JapLance »

I was trying to use a part of a map for some testing and realised that the Clip Top Margin and Clip Left Margin don't work as intended: they convert to clear terrain a number of columns/rows in the oposite part of the map.

If I order the editor to clip 10 hexes in the top part, it does it, but it also converts the bottom last 10 rows of hexes into clear terrain. The same happens in the right end of the map if I want to clip in the left margin.

A pic will be easier to understand:

I didn't see it in the known problems thread and did a search for something similar but coudn't find anything. My apologies if it's already been reported. My version of TOAW3 is 3.2.29.27.
Greetings from Spain.

I can confirm this. No telling when it cropped up.

"Set Map Boundaries" works ok, still. But you can't clip those two boundaries with it.
