Changes still possible?

Post by Historiker »

When I look at the [FAQ] Threads, I always see one schema: "Is this in AE?" "Yes, it is/ No it isn't"

Just to talk for me, I can await the release to see how much is changed, so I don't invest the time to read the dozens of pages. But while AE isn't released, yet, I ask myself - and now you [;)] - whether there is still the possibility to suggest changes even in the hardcode.

Sure, you can always suggest.

It's really quite late, but we do read the suggestions.

It means that things which don't make it into the release version, might make it into a subsequent patch...[8|]

Not me, I'm only involved in AE so I only read AE. Even with that limitation, my lips frequently get tired.

Short answer is yes but mostly to features we have already added to try and get them working as envisaged.

We read the wish list thread but the fact is we only have so much time, things are so inter related that things that look like a quick fix are a pain and we need to turn to AI.

Getting what we have working so we can work on the AI is no.1 on the priority list adding more changes at this stage while possible would need to be a real showstopper and get through about 4 committtees to be included.

If we dont shut down scope we never get it finsihed its really that simple.

I ment the [FAQ] Threads in this subforum.
AFAIS there are only the "is this in AE" questions in there and I'm a disciplined German [;)] so I don't like to spam in the wrong threads *g*
