combat screen problem

Been playing for awhile now, but when I replay the combat moves I am getting screens over screens, and no plane images in combat results screens. Then when the moves end and the game goes into movement mode I get see through screens and so forth. When I move the game save file to another WITP fgame save folder the screens is good to go.

Any ideas?

i am guessing you are running short of memory...

Try rebooting before doing any replay (for several reasons, but it should clear out any memory) and try closing as many background applications as possible.

I have 2 gigs and an excellent machine..just built.
I also have two witp game files for each of my pbems..the other game file doesnt have the same problem.

Yes, but have you tried the suggestions?

Is this an intermittent problem, or does it happen from a cold boot every time with that replay file?

Yes and its a cold boot to the game. The combat save for my other game runs fine, and the move turn for my other game is fine also.
